1. Objectives of the Programme

This programme aims at aiding students at the UIB Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy (FIF) who present a scientific paper, a poster, or work in any other format at conferences, summer schools or seminars.

2. Requirements for Applicants

• Being a student of the Degree in Nursing at the UIB
• Being a student of the Degree in Physiotherapy at the UIB
• Students can only apply once per academic year
• Only one student per paper or work will benefit from this aid
• Students who are already benefitting from another grant or aid for the same activity may not apply for this one.

3. How to Apply

Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Dean for the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy, using the application form available on its website, or at the FIF's admin services.

There will be two calls per year for this programme - the first one lasting until the end of February, and the second until the end of July. No applications submitted two weeks after the end of the activity shall be accepted.

Documentation to be submitted to the FIF'S Office of the Dean:

• Application form (see attached document)
• Copy or abstract of the paper, poster or other work
• Copy of the letter of acceptance by the congress, conference or seminar
• Copy of the registration form, including information on the fees and other registration details for the congress, conference or seminar
• Copy of the proof of payment of the registration fee
• Copy of the certificate of attendance
• Boarding passes (where applicable)
• Invoices or receipts (registration, vouchers...) in the name of the student.

4. Amount of the Grant/Scholarship

The amount students receive per academic year is subject to the Faculty's annual budget. 6 grants will be allocated to students enrolled in the Degree in Nursing, and 4 to students enrolled in the Degree in Physiotherapy. Each year, the Office of the Dean shall set the maximum amount a student can receive in a single year. The amount of the grants will be distributed between the two aforementioned calls for applications. In the event that the total amount for a call is not allocated at the end of it, the Office of the Dean may choose to reallocate the remainder of said amount.

5. Application Form

Students must follow the instructions below:

• Fill in the application form
• Register the signed form, together with the corresponding documentation and due justification for any documents that cannot be attached.

6. Assessment of Grants/Scholarships

Applications will be assessed by the Office of the Dean up to the last school day of the months of February and July, respectively.
