Internationalisation and Cooperation
The internationalisation of university education is an increasingly important goal to attain in a globalised world, student mobility being a key factor to achieve it.
At the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy of the UIB we firmly believe that the experience students gain trough their mobility - whether in their country or overseas - contributes to enhancing their training, as it allows them to incorporate new experiences, acquire in-depth knowledge in their area and learn about different perspectives on health and culture, all of which will contribute positively to building their identity as professionals. In addition, it is our view that having culturally-diverse students in our classrooms and clinical settings is bound to boost the teaching-learning process, thus taking our students a step further.
With this in mind, the Faculty and the International Relations Office (SRI) work closely to guarantee a suitable and sustainable offer which comprises a set of national and international exchange programmes organised in collaboration with a large number of overseas universities.
There is a wide variety of options to choose from, both at the national and international level. If you are interested, you may check all the information on grants or scholarships, current programmes and agreements the Faculty's teaching staff have set up with other universities.
In Spain, the mobility programme of the Exchange System between Spanish Universities (SICUE) grants students the chance to take part of their studies at another Spanish university.
At the international level, the Faculty aims to expand the number of destinations available within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme, while ensuring Nursing and Physiotherapy students can access the exchange places offered through other international programmes.
The mobility coordinators for our courses are here to solve any doubts you may have regarding the information available on the SRI website, and will help you to prepare the academic agreement proposal for the university of your choice.
